Terminal 1

I went to Terminal 1 yesterday to go to Paris, France. I used my car to go to JFK using the long term parking there. It cost $18 for a day. From there, we can take airtrain for free. The long time parking located at Lefferts Blvd Station of Haward Beach airtrain. After get in Lefferts Blvd, Federal Circle Station will come, and then, Terminal 1. It is easy. After get off the airtrain, we need to use elevator or escalator to go up to the third floor and then move to Terminal 1, and then we need to go down to second floor with escalator or elevator. (there are NO way to go through from airtrain station to the check in counter even both are located on second floor.) We need to go with this way or go down to the first floor with elevator and across the street out side and then go up to the second floor. At the first floor, we have pizza store, dankin donut, European café, internet café, baggage storage. At  the second floor, we have only one café, and Starbucks will come soon. Today it was still under construction. At the terminal one, we have food court at the out side of security. It is located at the third level. We can use elevator or escalator from the second level. Again we can't go there from third level at the airtrain station to the food court even they are located on the same third level. we need to go down and up. At the food court, we have Starbucks, dunkin donuts, Mcdonald, Korean food place Jikki, Chinese food place, Wok&roll, Italian food place, Sballo. All are casual. There are plenty table and chirs there for free. You can use them without buying anything. After security point, there are lounge for Air France, Lufthansa, Alitalia, Korean Air. Beside that, we have several casual café, one bar and starbucks. There are duty free shop even it is small and Hudson news for magazine and travel goods. there are spa to get our nails done. I think that's all for terminal one. It is small terminal we can easily walk through. Maybe only 10 minutes to walk the end to the end. They don't have the pre-check system or grovel entry there. Only the priority they have is for Special care, First class, Business class line. So, if you are travel at the busy time, you need to get there earlier even terminal one is small.
I came back to JFK today with Air France again. The arrival level is crowded with all the passenger from other airlines. They have several airplane at the similar time together, so, almost all the time, it is crowded. If you have US passport same as me, you can use machine to shortcut the process for going through immigration. If not, you need to line up at the end of ling line. It will take 30 minutes to 3 hours. Good luck! After finished the immigration, we will see the baggage area. There are 4 baggage turn table. You can check the screen which table you should go. After you pick up your baggage, you have to go through Quarantine area to give them blue card. Usually, just give them the blue card but if you were asked to open your bag, you need to do it. After that, we will come out to the meeting area. Form there, We need to go up to the third floor and move to airtrain station and go down to the second floor. From there to shorten the time, I use yellow line to terminal 8, and then from terminal8, use Haward Beach Train to the Lefferts Blvd station. It is little annoying but after we used to use, it is ok.
